The West End Club

The West End Club (Dowanhill Primary School)
Hello and welcome to our Karemore West End Page!  This page contains general information about our club,  for a more comprehensive guide, please email Kirsty@karemore.co.uk for our Parents Handbook.

We are based in Dowanhill Primary School and have up to 24 children a day. We have three members of staff. When your child joins our club, they will be allocated a Key Worker who is responsible for your child and for liaising with you regarding your child’s development and needs.

Dining Hall

We are based in the Dining Hall of Dowanhill Primary School and have a wide range of activities for the children to participate in, including:

• lego
• play dough
• collage
• modeling
• jigsaws
• playstation
• board games
• etc

Playground

We also have use of the playground – if weather permits!  This enables us to arrange ball games, races, skipping, hula hoops etc.

Park

We often go over to the local park which the children love!  If we do this, a poster is placed on the Dining Hall door.

GENERAL ROUTINE

We do have a relaxed routine which we try and stick to!  This can be found in our Parents Handbook.  However, we are aware that the children have been in school today and do not their time at the club to be too “regimented” so, we are very relaxed.

The NEW WEST END CLUB (Hillhead Primary School, Gibson Street)

We are pleased to announce that we will be the Out of School Care Provider at the new Hillhead Primary School, Gibson Street!

The new school is hoping to open in May 2011.
